PFEP-2100 is a top coat based on Epoxy resin and Polyamide hardener. After application and full cure, it provides a uniform and glossy surface and is scratch-, abrasion-, moisture- and chemical resistant. It protects the under layer from corrosive attack. This product is also usable as a single coat in which case, it provides good adhesion.
Main usage:
This product is used to protect metal, concrete and woody substrates in structures, pipelines, storage tanks, refinery and petrochemical equipments, machinery and exterior face of tanks.

Application Guide Direction
Surface preparation:
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from contaminants, grease, dust, rust, moisture and any loose particles. Cleaning should be done using suitable cleaning agents. If the substrate (primer) surface is so glossy, it should be abraded and then cleaned and dried. Surface preparation is so important while applying the paint directly on the substrate. Metal substrates such as steel and iron are sand blasted up to SA2 grade. SA2.5 is recommended in aggressive conditions (e.g. water immersion). The painting process should be done exactly after the air blast.
Application:
After surface preparation, the two parts of the paint should be thoroughly mixed using a suitable mixer until a homogenous solution is achieved. The paint can be thinned with T-950 thinner gradually while mixing. PFEP-2100 is applied using ordinary air or airless spray and small surfaces can be repaired by bush. Using suitable ventilation is necessary while paint application in close places. All tools should be washed with T-950 thinner after the application.
