Epoxy Polyamide Anti-Rust


PFEP-2010 is a corrosion resistant shop-primer based on Epoxy resin and Polyamide hardener. This product is specially formulated for steel substrates and tanks to protect the structures and pipelines against corrosive environments.

  • Application Guide:


  • Surface preparation:

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from contaminants, grease, dust, rust, moisture and any loose particles. Metal substrates such as steel and iron are sand blasted up to SA2 grade. SA2 ½ is recommended in aggressive conditions (e.g. water immersion). The painting process should be done exactly after the air blast.

  • Application:

After surface preparation, two parts of the paint should be thoroughly mixed using a suitable mixer until a homogenous solution is achieved. The paint can be thinned with T-950 thinner gradually while mixing.

PFEP-2010 is applied using ordinary air or airless spray and small surfaces can be repaired by bush.

Using suitable ventilation is necessary while paint application is done in close places.

All tools should be washed out with T-950 thinner.

  • Storage:

24 months, in unopened package & protect from direct sun light.
