POLYSEAL-PU 1000
Description:
Is one component, moisture curing direct glazing sealant with excellent sag resistant based on Polyurethane, which cures by reaction with moisture to a soft elastic product .the skin formation and curing times are dependent on humidity and temperature, and the curing time also depends on joint depth. By increasing the temperature and moisture these times can be reduced, low temp as well as low moisture retards the process.
This sealant demonstrates the following characteristics:
- Excellent adhesion with primer on glass, ceramic coated glass and on painted surfaces.
- Excellent adhesion on material residues
- High cure rate
- High UV resistant
- High shear strength , retained on aging
Application:
POLYSEAL PU-1000 is used to fill both, movement and construction joints in building and civil engineering where a permanently flexible seal is required such as:
Filling the expansion joints
Filling the cracks and control joints
Filling the gaps around glass , door , . . . in vehicles
Between pre-cast concretes
It has an excellent adhesion to concrete and brick, natural and artificial stone, glass, steel . . .
