Description:
Wrapping reinforcing interior layer (inner wrap) is a felt layer of fiberglass. It's a homogenous, thin, flexible layer and usually is produced with long fiberglass fibers in porous layer which are connected by suitable adhesive materials.
This adhesive material should be compatible with bituminous material, like Phenolphormaldehyde, Ureaphormaldehyde Fiberglass layer is produced in two types: reinforced and non- reinforced. That reinforced layer has longitude strings for longitude tensile strength. In addition, fiberglass felt should have a smooth, homogenous, without defect and transparent surface.
